February Photo Summary

Here is a note on what happened in February.

We walked when the weather was cooperating - around the town

and in the wilderness as well.

15 Feb. - Open School Day at Crave Creek Country School

16 Feb. - Music Concert

The first concert ever where we needed earplugs, at least at the beginning of the performance, because the sounds were so high that they were hurting. The performer used earplugs, we had not been told to bring some. The compositions by Mr. Shaver were enjoyable, the music reminded me of the works by King Crimson, the classic British rock band. Classic not meaning classical music of course.

23 Feb. - Music Concert in Church - we liked the ladies' voices very much.

Our favorite piece was a song sang in the movie "Brother Where Art Thou?"

And more walks we did when we could ...

January Log

January was much quieter than December. We could rest but stayed rather busy at the same time.

About 200 Saints (their relics) including our favorite ones visited our town. That was the relics collection that came to us from the Vatican.

Polish Saints whom we "met" there

John Paul II
Maximilian Maria Kolbe
Satnislaus PapczyƄski
11 Martyrs of Novogrudek

19 January

Classical and popular music - concert

Our January walks - there were quite a lot of nice days on which we enjoyed walking.
