April Walks

Nothing was going on here (due to the town shutdown) in April so we walked when we could. And, yes, there are beautiful places to walk here. Pretty landscapes and clean air. All so enjoyable!

What you cannot see/hear in the pictures: butterflies flying around, tiny lizards appearing here and there, birds chirping, crickets playing their music, and the refreshing feel of the wind on our bodies.

Walk #1

Actually, it was more of a drive than a walk.

March

On 6 March 2020, we enjoyed taking part in the last local event before the lockdown.
It was a meeting with an Auschwitz survivor Dr. Edith Eger who danced in the camp in front of the infamous Dr. Mengele. Little did the lady talk about her war experiences but she did teach about the kindness and peace of heart and mind and the forgiveness as well.

Not long after that, the town life was suspended. We kept walking both for mental and physical health. Luckily we live in a beautiful area with pretty landscape and clean air.
