This year, I rediscovered baking the turkey in an oven bag. Very satisfying result!
A half of it was eaten during one sitting.
The dressing was tasty as usual. The old recipe is very good. I need to save it from being lost. It used to be available on the net, but (regrettably) that site is gone with the wind.
Dressing ingredients:
- 3 stalks of celery,
- 1 medium-size onion,
- 1/3 cup butter,
- 12 slices of one-day-old bread,
- chicken broth - 2 cups,
- milk - 1/2 cup,
- eggs - 2 beaten,
- salt - 1/4tsp,
- poultry seasoning - 1 tsp,
- sage - 1/2 tsp,
- pepper - 1/4 tsp,
