On Sunday 04/04, we came back to Meyerson Symphony Hall for some more classical music.
Conductor: Mr. John Storgaards
Haydn - Symphony No. 94, in G Major, "Surprise" - very pleasant and enjoyable.
Sibelius - Concerto in D minor for Violin and Orchestra, Op. 47 - so beautiful!
The violinist, Mr. Augustin Hadelich is a 2016 Grammy Award winner, he plays Stradivarius violin made in 1723 - wonderful performance.
Nielsen - Symphony No.5, Op. 50 - quite epic - I had not heard anything by Nielsen before.
