New Guy

A New Guy in the family. No, it's not our bike. Harley has been history already.

It seems, I missed posting a note about that Harley, the predecessor.

 UPDATE:

The old one that is gone now.

Biking in Winter

Last week, it was rather windy but nice enough to go out and have some fun. The weather encourage bikers to go for a ride as well.

No, the bike is not ours, it's somebody else's. Isn't it nice?

Guess who?

Deer Are Watching US

Deer Land Again on PhotoPeach

While watching nature during our walks, we are aware that many eyes are watching us as well - deer, jackrabbits, armadillos, birds and you name it.

Drawing for Fun

As you can see below, those drawings were made 20 years ago. Ron drew them for fun in a local art museum.

February Photo Summary

Here is a note on what happened in February.

We walked when the weather was cooperating - around the town

and in the wilderness as well.

15 Feb. - Open School Day at Crave Creek Country School

16 Feb. - Music Concert

The first concert ever where we needed earplugs, at least at the beginning of the performance, because the sounds were so high that they were hurting. The performer used earplugs, we had not been told to bring some. The compositions by Mr. Shaver were enjoyable, the music reminded me of the works by King Crimson, the classic British rock band. Classic not meaning classical music of course.

23 Feb. - Music Concert in Church - we liked the ladies' voices very much.

Our favorite piece was a song sang in the movie "Brother Where Art Thou?"

And more walks we did when we could ...

Drawing At The Museum

#8

drawing by Ron

And here (below) my version of Paul Klee's painting which is my reply to a current FB trend - people recreating popular paintings in their own way, with the stuff they find.
